New Member (Officially, anyway) New Jacket on Order

Post by Road Warrior »

Hello all.

I've been lurking on this site for at least a year. Always been a fan of the Indy jacket since Raiders, but just last week finally took the plunge and ordered a Wested. Total screen accuracy is not a concern; I just wanted a good looking, well-made jacket. Being a big fan of horsehide (I own an Aero Highwayman and Long Half Belt in FQHH), it seemed like Wested was the way to go -- especially for the price, considering it's a custom.

Here's what I ordered....

Raiders model
46 long
Horsehide
Extra inside pocket
Gussets
Antique brass hardware

Of course, here in Southeast PA it's been insufferably hot, so I won't get much of a chance to wear it for a while. I told them to take their time and get it right. I furnished a lot of measurements, so I'm looking forward to a well-fitting jacket that will last a long time and look very cool.

Yes, I will post photos when I get it, but I imagine that's close to a month off.

Congradulations and welcome! I have a Wested Last Crusade jacket in horsehide which I bought last year......it is my 2nd favorite jacket (my Novapelle is my #1...for the moment). Horsehide is one of THE toughest leathers around and should last an eternity. Wested makes the best Indy HH jacket around, period.
