yes, it can be used on your fedora. Most use the neutral shade (w/out any dyes).
Does anyone have any good pics of their jackets w/ fuller's earth? And, does it normally come off when you treat your jacket, example, using Pecards?
Thanks!

Any costuming store that carries Ben Nye products. Ben Nye is a complete line of inexpensive to moderately expensive costuming/theater makeup. The Ben Nye's fuller earth that I bought comes in three colors (ash, brown, and black) and goes along way!!!

Fuller's Earth is a very fine "dirt". How about that ! The grains are very small and adheres to surfaces very well. ToddsCostumes.com sells Fullers Earth. There's a description on the website

Fullers Earth is great stuff. I have used it on my:
-Akubra Deluxe, stays on just fine.
-My Wested Authentic Lamb, comes off the quickest.
-...and my Aldens which will stay on mostly, except for the areas the pants brush over.
You get a GOOD amount from Todd's. You will need VERY little to do the job on whatever you are applying it to. Be careful when apply on things that take it well like the hat. I barely exhaled with my brush in front of me and it spattered the earth all over it.
With a quick blast from my pressure hose, it came off with the greatest of ease.

Would the canned air you use to blow computers and electronics off with work to remove Fullers from a hat then? I'm about to apply it and am nervous about getting it off my hat if I don't like it.
