I was reeeeeeealy sweating these past 3 weeks waiting for it to come in and hoping it fit. I gave them my off-the-rack size but, after reading horror stories of others ordering their size and it coming in and not fitting... well, I was worried. But I think it fit like a glove.

And it smells like heaven.

Nice jacket! Now all you need to do is grab a whip, and train that collar to behave, lol. Don't worry, they all come like that. Just gotta shape it a bit, and you're all set.

Well... I ordered a Todd's first, but when it looked like it wasn't going to ship for a while (still don't have it), I looked around at other jackets. I almost went with a Nowak but, as I'm buying all my other gear now as well, I couldn't see spending the extra $. I read the jacket description at the G&B site, saw they had good feedback with you good people, and went with them.

BTW, what color leather is the jacket? Distressed?

I think they vary a bit. Mine are very scalloped and terrific. Some others in photos at least look less so.

Heck Yeah!! I love the smell of my G&B goatskin. I too went with my normal size, and I got the exact Raiders look I was hoping for.

Notice how close the pocket is to the zip - at least an inch closer than the film jacket and Todds, USW and all Westeds. Don't get me wrong. I have a G&B too and it's the best leather jacket I own. It's just interesting placement to me.

I just wish they would make the pockets single thickness or just skip the handwarmer as an option. Other than that I love the jacket.

Probably because it's better than most of those.... IMO
