Just got my first whip

Post by Mark Brody »

Asked rjallen70 to make me an 8 ft nylon whip earlier. I just got it in the mail today. I have never even touched a real bullwhip before, but I can see how you guys would be addicted to this. To my amazement, I cracked it on my second try.

The first really loud crack actually came over the weekend. I tried my hand at the overhead cattleman's crack. That was pretty loud! I'm a little worried now. I'll probably want to get another whip sometime in the future, but it was hard enough to get my fiancee to agree to this one. I had to give her as much money as I spent on the whip so that she could go shopping.

Good looking whip there, Mark Brody! Did you already pick up another
one? I see another turk's head lurking off to the side in your photo.

Too bad you had to bribe your significant other in order to make your purchase - bummer!:junior:

I just absolutely love my whip from Ron. Tonight I did an Indy appearance for my middle school kids at church. We had them gathered in our meeting hall, and I came in and cracked my whip a couple times. First of all, I swear a couple girls peed their pants, and then they were all covering their ears saying that it made their ears ring. Then they just thought it was really cool. These suckers are loud! Now I know how to get their attention.
