Magnoli Pants owners - any advice before ordering?

I need a new pair of Raiders pants and will be going with a pair of Magnoli Adventure Pants. I plan to ask for a 5 inch military hem and want something reasonably screen accurate, but will sacrifice some of that accuracy for a pair of pants that will last a while. What fabric would you recommend? Is there any taper to these pants, or are the legs straight?

The English wool will be the most screen accurate. However, I prefer the wool blend because it's not as warm, but still high quality. The legs should be fairly straight, but you can e-mail Magnoli if you have specific requests (tapered legs, military hems, etc.). In fact, any changes you want to make are probably possible. You could get a zipper fly, add suspender buttons, whatever.
I can not recommend Magnoli's clothes enough. They are awesome. Screen accuracy may be second to another vendor in some cases, but the quality and customization can't be beat.

How long does Magnolia normally take to ship their stuff? I ordered their pants a couple weeks ago and sent emails but no response...

Did you have them before and then send them in to be hemmed or did you order them from scratch?
If you ordered them from scratch, then chances are he is still making them, he makes it all to order you know.

I have to say I love mine. I need about 6 more pairs so I can wear them every day of the week, lol. You can't beat custom made, mine fit perfectly.

I did e-mail Magnoli and he confirmed that the legs are fairly straight and I could request a specific hem circumference if I wanted. He also confirmed that they'll do a military hem and suggested I go with the wool blend. Nice that he didn't try to sell me on the more expensive fabric, that says a lot in my book. The military hem is crucial because the shoe-lace hooks of my Aldens get caught in my current hem of my Wested pants.

And they're made in Thailand which takes extra time.
