Your opinions on the Miller would be greatly appreciated folks.

Well, thanks to a recent post, I have new found adoration for my Miller. I love the color and it looks just right on me.

A few considerations...if you like a tall crown, the Miller is a little short. However, it works for my smallish face. Also, people have reported that it can taper, yet, it can be rebuilt. My only gripe is the ribbon...it is a little wide (1 3/4), but it takes away from the crown height a little, making it look even better on my noggin.

Overall, a very nice hat. :D I really do love mine.

Peace,

I was always interested in the Miller.
because of my smaller face vs. others, I knew it should work for me.
Haven't ordered it yet though. trying to determine brim dimensions first.

had to order a keppler and fed first too.

would the miller suit a LC lid more?
just wondering because of the 256's bashed appearance.
now that I have a keppler and fed on the way, I would like to
get a LC look as well

Yup...as stated on the main page, the Miller makes a GREAT LC fedora, IMO. I would order the 257 (?) or whatever the open crown one is, as you can shapen it to your liking. I am not sure of the brim width either...go with the 2 3/4 if you are not sure. I believe mine is 2 5/8, which works fine on my smaller face.

Thanks cliffhanger.....

did you make a dimensional cut for your miller?

CEEJAY...

Nope, left it as it is. However, what works for me may not work for everybody. I would go with the wider brim, and work down from there.

Again, a recommended fedora!
