Chicago screws?

Where would a fella find those outside Illinois. I hear they're swell for affixing bag straps to MKVII's.

Speaking of Chicago screws, how do you undo the screw that's on the buckle side of the strap (the one with no screw insert)?

you can order them from tandy leather or most other leather supply shops. i know i have a few dozen at home of various sizes and finishes.

Check your local farm stores like rural king or tractor supply co. Look in the tack section I have bought small packs of 5-10 there before. If you have any local horse and tack shops they should have them too.

I have seen them on ebay too.

Not sure about paper binding, alot of leather is crafted with them.

I've seen them at larger Home Depots and Lowe's that have a specialty screw cabinet in the fastener section.
