I ordered a fedora from AB a looooong time ago, maybe like last summer, and they have taken charge for the hat, but I haven't seen any hat yet, and when I try to contact AB I get no answer at all.

Anyone got any tips or words for comforting?

If you ordered last summer you should get your hat soon. The wait time is around 1 year...

I have read Steve is working on last June's orders now.

Keep smiling you will get that white box soon enough.

Yup, I'm still waiting on a June 07 order too.

Steve's been pretty sick this past week, but once he gets better I think we are going to see a slew of June hats go out.

And hopefully September 07 orders will be close behind...

Don't worry olflea. Just consider yourself lucky that you're just counting down the days now instead of the months.

Your hat will be getting to you soon, just keep hanging in there. As Indiana mentioned Steve has been pretty sick the past week so that will put in a delay in hats. Hopefully he has been doing better lately as I have seen him post in a few threads today. At least you don't have much longer of a wait probably. I probably won't get mine till the fall sometime, unless there is going to be more delays. Your in some good company with your waiting though olflea, it will be worth it.

Has anyone heard from steve lately?

I know I have to have patiens ..
But im hoping to get my hat before the summer ends..
going on an adventure .. so I want it with me

Steve returns my emails within 3-7 days or so. He says he is very busy getting hats out; overwhelmed as he put it with hundreds of orders in a 1 man show. Just be patient and Steve will get to you, have faith in the "hat man."

I know he is most likely VERY busy, I am just beggin' he manages to get my hat done until summer is over, it has to ship to Norway also, so that will take som time..

But he doesn't have a lot of manpower like you say, so he can't do more than he can..
