J Crew Red Wing classic boots...What happened to the $$

I just checked on the J Crew Red Wing Rugged classic boots and the price has increased to $225.00!! What the heck is that about? Are they prepping for the latest Indy adventure as well? For that price, just put some dough with it and go for the real thing.

Good thing Pitfall Harry and I picked ours up for less on 'that auction site'....I love these boots! SO much more ready for adventure than my Farnums...But those make killer boots for the office, so...Guess I'll keep 'em.
I paid $150, i think he got his for less....

No, I got mine for $150 too and not a moment to soon it looks like.
Wow, did I dodge a bullet there.
I agree about the boots. I rubbed some Pecards on them a few weeks ago and they look even better now than they did before.

How funny. I have a pair of Red Wings I bought over a year ago that are their work boot model, and they cost me 225.

I actually sent them an e-mail about this and have yet to receive a reply. I was sent a 20% off coupon and figured "#### I'm going to go for it" and noticed the price jump.
The last time I looked (6 weeks ago) the price was $197. I'm sure it will be attributed to the price of oil.

You guys mean the discontinued 'Vintage Work Boot' or the J. Crew exclusive Redwing? $225 is @right for wings.

The boot that is currently available on the site. The price hike is recent.
