The subject says it all. Is there a way to re-bash the wool Dorfman hats into Raiders style?

I've been trying to do that for the past two months. No way.

Yes. Just put lots of water on it.

I've had no luck with mine. Any time I try to tighten the pinch, the already tapered crown seems to look like a dunce cap. I'll just stick to a ToD style for the DP.

Wow. That pretty muched worked. Hopefully it won't loose its shape. BTW I'm new here and you guys have helped me picking out all my Indy gear needs. I have a Fed IV coming, but I had to buy carbon gray only cause I love gray fedoras. THAT one will have a good Raiders bash coming to it.

Not bad, for a DP. It oughta serve you well while you have it.

Yea that's how I made my DP look before I got my AB.

Already reworked a grey Dorfman Pacific (I LOVE gray fedoras too!) with some average results, but it was really hard for me and I’m just talking about the brim!
I’m not sure I want to work the bash and get rid of that tear drop until I’m sure of what I’m doing.
I really want to fully rework my brown Dorfman Pacific, but I wish some one would be so kind to submit a detailed tutorial on how to rework these stubborn Dorfman Pacific hats.
...someone?

That's what I was hoping for but I just said screw it. It's only forty dollars. I used water and looked at some pics. I think the pinch was pretty easy to do. I just need to replace the bow, but I'm bad at sewing.

Yeah, cold water is about the only thing that can work a bit on a wool fedora. Steam works on a fur felt thou. So did it come with the center dent or did you tweak it from a teardrop crown?

Yeah it came with the tear drop. Trying to make that center dent is a pain!
