They have some nice pieces, their prices are through the roof .
Here in the USA you can buy most of those firearms in working condition for about half the price.

The silencer you would have to be very careful with. Even if it is not real and only for display. It takes a class 3 license to own one of those. I would check before you buy. That would be a federal charge.

Yeah I was thinking about the silencer thing, too. Don't worry, I had no intention of buying - I just wasn't sure if anybody else had seen that website. Granted they DID have A LOT of neat WWII stuff - I think I recall seeing a Thompson, as well as various other Indy-era guns. Incidentially, what do those guns cost in US dollars?

In the first link you posted, the allied deactivated guns. That is a Thompson in that pic.

As far as the price goes that varies alot on make, condition, made from a parts kit or original with all matching numbers. And other things like work done to it, magazines types and capacity. and how bad you want it. The list goes on and on.
I have seen semi auto thompsons starting around $700-800 US and up. same for the M1 garand.
The European surplus bolt action rifles in fair to good condition like the .303 enfield, 7 and 8 mm mauser, and mosin nagant I have seen for under $100 US.

They had a WG with an unaltered cylinder at one point but it sold. I wanted that to swap into my gun.

That's a nice lookin' MKIV , but the price? With the exchange rate today,
that'd be a $450.00 paperweight!

Now if it was a working gun in that condition, for the same price? - hmmmm. :junior:

Also, I'm pretty sure the method that is used in the UK to make a firearm "deactivated" does not meet the BATF requirements for a deactivated weapon here in the States.
