"Official" hats at ThinkGeek

ThinkGeek.com usually has some great stuff, but they just started carrying the "officially licensed" (but only vaguely Indy) fedora.

It's at least made out of fur felt, but sports the short, tear-drop bashed crown.

I submitted a review of it to their site, but the review rules say you can't include URLs to other sites/competitors, etc., so I couldn't say "save your $ and get a Fed or AB."

Because they're mass-produced by people who don't really care for people who don't know the difference. Image

Sad but true.

At least they have their own picture of the product, which shows the furfelt looking a bit different. The felt in that picture looks almost identical (except for color) to a piece of @#$% I have. I think the official wool looks to be of better quality..

The uploader is such a ####, some people make statements about the accuracy of the hat/ThinkGeek's claims, and the guy goes off like a firecracker. Somebody representing a company shouldn't be acting like such a dick.
