If you know the answer - what's with the pocket placement? Has it changed?
I love my G&B - superb manufacture and as screen accurate as I need.
However, the pockets (I've checked other Expo photos) show that the pocket on teh side without the wind flap is very close to the zip. Not a single screen capture from Raiders shows the pockets in this location. It is about 2 to 3 cms closer to the zip than any other jacket maker's (esp Todds which is very SA).
Any answers to this? I actually don't mind it but I am curious.
Regards

Isthis a new G&B jacket, or an older one (how old?)
There was an issue about 5 years ago where the pockets started drifting over and we finally spoke to them about it and had it fixed.

As I said - it's in the photos of most G&B jackets I've seen new or old. Mine is brand new (and fantastic).
The pocket on the non-windflap side in my case is positioned just over 3 cm away from the zip. A Todds jacket has it appear around 6 tp 8 cm - as it appears in the film.
The photo on the G&B website does not look like any of the jackets they currently make so it is no good as a guide here.
Cheers
Perhaps someone can measure theirs to confirm.
Thanks - that's really interesting. I imagine the Todds is pretty accurate. Makes a bit of difference, but I'd have to say I'm very happy with the G&B regardless.Technonut wrote:My lamb G&B is about 3.5 cm. My Todd's custom is about 6 cm....
I purchased the G&B from the FS Forum, and I'm not sure exactly how old it is... I REALLY like it though regardless... ;)
I wonder of those pockets have moved...
