any update on the black aldens that were in the preproduction stage? i would really like to have a pair of black aldens.

I have a pair of 405's that were custom made for me several years ago in black. Wonderful boots -- Just expensive! W>

These boots are pretty much more expensive than standard 405s cause they are made of shell cordovan but worth every penny. But I must say I wouldn't have bought them without the $/€ exchange rate being as it is.
