Trail Dust

I have been considering 'dirtying up' my AB since it was just looking too new, despite having been wearing it for over 3 years. Since I could not find any Fuller's Earth locally, I opted for a powder called 'Trail Dust' that I found in a Costume shop. I applied it with a blush-brush, and find that the first touch goes on pretty heavy, then the rest is lighter. Anyhoo, here's a comparison pic next to a Fed Delux...I could use some feedback. thanks

I put some Mehron Trail Dust on my Todd's jacket, and it works fine. Stays put and is definitely taming the "newness" down. Haven't tried it on my hat, as it is already aged.

Manu7, it hasn't come off any, so far. I did find the best way to apply it seems to be to turn the brush in it, then tap the dust off of the brush like tapping ashes off of a cigarette, the lightly brushing either from side to side, or in a turning motion. I'm not done yet, but it looks prtty good so far. Also, I tried some on my Aldens today and I liked the results there.

Looks like the dust makes your hat taller, too.

I'd guess "Trail Dust" is just a brand label for Fuller's earth.
