Hey guys, just wanted to show you what patience can do if you wait long enough. I got this jacket on saturday and finally was able to take some pictures of me wearing it today. I ordered way back on Jan. 30th, got a jacket late February that was totally off from the jacket I should have gotten. Sent that one back, was not sure if it even got to Peter since USPS tracking system was just saying it arrived in Great Britain not actually delivered. Then I called Peter up and asked him if he had my jacket, he said he remembered getting it and would check on it on monday. I called him on tuesday to see if he found it and he found my jacket I sent back and told me a replacement was being made as I spoke with him. What a guy, in two weeks he gets me this jacket. Peter you are a true gentleman. I got this jacket and I absolutely love it, fits much better than my first one.
They got everything right and just did an awesome job.
Thank you Peter so much, the lamb is sooo soft. Almost like a light blanket.
Peter again thanks, it is a beautiful jacket, I will be buying another jacket from you later this year maybe.
Here are the pictures and specs what do you guys think??

Unfortunately, I did not do that, I can zip it up all the way and it is pretty loose, but not like extremely loose. I'll see if I can get one up in the next few days.

Thanks for the comments guys, this is my second Wested, and I have to tell you this is much better jacket. Already got rained on a little bit today, plan just to naturally distress it, by wearing it. I did that to a leather jacket and it just turned out great, it may take a long time, but it is worth it and you will that jacket still around for a long while. Ya JR I am already thinking about my third.
Maybe a LC Novapelle or LC in a washed lamb.

Wow!
IMO the best Wested jacket I've ever seen.
Even the arm vs yoke seam is perfect.
Congratulations!
BTW: how's the left collar placement?

That's what I'm talking about.
Awesome jacket.
Looking at that jacket tells you how much you don't need an 80s fit.
That my friend is SA.

Man, wouldn't it be great if Peter could standarize that back panel and arm vs. yoke seam?

Rom, I think your asking if the left collar meets midway on the storm flap. It does meet midway, I will try to post a picture of that today sometime.
PLATON, thanks for the comments, it indeed is SA as I can get it.
I really like the standard cut, the 80's cut is too tight for me. Standard all the way for me.
Thanks for the comments and this jacket is going to get some water distressing today since it is raining out. Natural distressing all the way.

Chris, That jacket has got to be the best one that I've seen yet! Freakin awesome! I can't believe they got all of the specs right. I wish the back panel, arm seam, pockets, collar, and zipper were standard.
I have had a bunch of Westeds so far (from the mid 90s onward) and they never get the darn back panel to extend all the way out. I love Wested but I've heard so many excuses as to why it can't be done on my jacket. The leather would be too thick to sew, they cant get a piece of leather large enough to extend the back panel that far. etc etc grr! Why do they do it on some and not others? Just make the back panel standard! That is how it looks in ROTLA, LC!
So jealous!
Congrats man! Enjoy!

Cool.
Can you believe that I still don't have a jacket with PLATON's pockets?

That's amazing indeed, Platon.
BTW: for SA sake, make sure you order this inside pocket type.
Unfortunately, I couldn't convince Peter to nail that.

Why did you have to convince him about that?
I thought he was making all the slit pockets like this (I owned two jackets which had it like this).
Recently I noticed a different one.
What's going on?

I was very clear about this in my specs list, but I got this one instead:
Minor difference, but hey... it
is a difference.

Will Peter still do all the custom things on this jacket?
I had money in hand to get one, but then Peter said he wasn't doing all our crazy requests anymore.

by Rom Hunter
I think he's getting overwhelmed with custom request at the moment.
This must be a crazy period for him.
That said, I think standarizing the left collar/stormflap, back panel, arm vs. yoke seam and making an option for two different inside pocket types would save him a lot of list reading.
All other SA specs are already on his (greatly improved) order page.
Cut the snaps jokes, please.
