Shirts?

Post by crazylegsmurphy »

I'm really sorry about this post, but I can't seem to find a thread that has a list of all the shirt vendors, which ones are considered the best (SA, quality, price).

If anyone knows of one could you please post the link in here, or if you're really bored could you all perhaps give me your take.

I'm looking for a shirt that SA, yet doesn't look/feel like a costume. I would like a shirt that's already tailored to a point so it's not a potato sack as well.

Thanks!

The only SA shirt that's already tailored that I know of would be Wested.

We're all waiting for Todd's, when it gets here, we'll let you know.

Magnoli is probably the most SA shirt, but you have to get your own measurements and have it custom made.

Hope this helps.

Are these shirts (talking quality) actually worth the $75+?

remeber wested is in the uk and as im from the uk i dont think the £40 pound mark is that expensive... i think its an issue of how many dollars you get in a pound.

i have the wested shirt and think its a really good shirt after i tailored it to my body size...

one thing i will say is that i had to go for the small size because even ordering the medium was too big... im a moderately tall not skinny but athlectic size build and the small was the only size that fit the shoulders right... even the waist section of the shirt balloned out like a circus tent so i had that taken in to hug the waist line more accurately like indy's

regards

I have a Magnoli shirt and it feels like it will last. The material is great and the stitching is great as well. It's a real shirt AND it is custom made for you, so it fits great and isn't baggy or too short in the sleeves. Well worth the price, I believe.

IMO I feel Magnoli is completely worth the price. Great service, great product, and its tailored to you.

I had a brand new wested shirt at one point, which I kept in unworn condition to compare to my Magnoli and when my Magnoli came in I knew I would never wear the wested, so I sold it. I personally think that the best money spent on a shirt is for the Magnoli.

I'll give Todd's shirt a chance when it is ready to order, but for now if its between Magnoli and Wested, I say Magnoli.

First, let me say, I don't think there is such a thing as a shirt that's worth more $50. Ever, anywhere. But in a world where a decent Indy shirt starts at that price... yes, Magnoli's is worth it. It's a high quality garment disguised as an Indy costume. To me, the shirt most worth having, end of story. I'm NOT knocking Magnoli's price. It's not disproportionate by any means, especially given the quality. I bring up the pricing because I later bought a second shirt from him. That should tell you something. :D

Ya, that's kinda what I figured.

I wanted to get two shirts, one for just cause and one to hike the West Coast Trail this summer...from what I'm gathering, Indiana Jones is like the Nike Swoosh...it doesn't really add anything to product except more cost.

I have never owned any of the shirts offered here, but I hear what you're saying about no shirt being worth more than $50. I accept the fact that it'll cost me, but I just want to make sure if I'm spending $100 for a SHIRT, it better be one awesome shirt.

Might want to check out Todds, size lg is out of stock and the other sizes aren't in yet and won't be for KOTCS. But for $49.95, you can't go wrong. When my lg comes in I'll post a review.
I have just about all of em.

Wested: Material is great very accurate. Not light weight but very comfortable to wear.

AB: Spot on, material is light weight and has the look and feel to Indys shirt in Raiders. Love this one.

NH: What more can be said, an awsome shirt. Some have issues with the way it's constructed, but I do look at this shirt as costume and not for every day use as I do all my others.

Indy Magnoli: Awsome shirt, similar material weight as that of a Wested.

WPG: A very nise shirt, some desin flaws but the material has a feel to that of a real miltay shirt.

Here's a link to Todds: http://www.toddscostumes.com/indy/india ... _shirt.htm
