*UPDATE* My First Indy Jacket Has Arrived (With Pics)!!!

Post by afrayedknot »

. . . and I almost missed it! I work the graveyard shift and was sleeping pretty soundly. If it wasn't for my dogs' incessant barking . . . well, I shudder to think!

I looked out the window to see the mail carrier with a package in hand. Nothing wakes you up faster (except almost hitting a deer while driving on the expressway). I ran outside in my pajama bottoms and caught her before she drove away.

The package was very light, so at first I didn' think it could be my jacket, but looking at the return address confirmed it - WESTED!

I'm sorry I haven't taken pictures yet. I was so excited, I just ripped open the package and tried it on. Perfect fit!

I will take pictures and attempt to post them (I've never done it before). But for now, I'm going back to sleep . . . in my brand new Raiders lamb.

Don't forget to post your specs so that we see them side by side with the photos.

I just paid regular shipping charges.

I should have some time tomorrow to take some pics and post them (as soon as I figure out how) and I will definitely post my specs. It doesn't seem like anything was left out, except perhaps the yoke seam, but that doesn't really bother me.

Omar, that is a really nice jacket, was looking for pictures of it before to post anything. Looks really nice, really an awesome jacket. Sorry I did not get to post anything in the past couple of days. I have been sick, must have been something I ate, but today I feel 50 percent better. I would not say all the way better. Hopefully I can get better before the premiere. Being sick is not good. Anyways, nice jacket, hope your enjoying it.

 There's something reeeeeeally wrong with that jacket...

...it's not MINE! That is gorgeous. When did you order it? That's an impressive list of specs! I especially like the zipper, and that it came with the black sliders. Also, I really like that inside pocket. Mine aaaaalways bothers me. It's got all that leather on there and it's curled, so my jacket doesn't sit flat on my chest. Oh well...

Excellent jacket, my friend! Absolutely great!

I like those pockets, but they look like LC pockets, not Raiders ones. They are quite unliek other Platon pockets I've seen. They are great however.

That's a beautiful jacket! I've never purchased a jacket with the gussets. How do you like them?

Jess - I really haven't had an opportunity to use the gussets, yet. I'll have to go out and perform some well-choreographed action sequences so I can provide some feedback.

Probably the last one (of the pockets). It was taken outdoors in natural light, but not in direct sunlight.
