USW cut and Nowaks cut

Post by Holt »

Hi.I have been looking into these to styles of jackets.

you can see that the usw and Nowaks cut are pretty much the same IMO

yes they are missing the snaps..but that can be fixed in a blink of an eye.
the pockets are sewen lower on the jacket then the Nowak jacket
and the double stitch seam on the shoulder is missing.

but USW are making the jacket without the seam on the bottom of the jacket and that is very SA for the CS jacket.
it also comes with D-rings
more baggy jacket
the pocket size and flaps are very good for a CS jacket
just need to attach some snaps

and off course here you can see how close the shade of the leather is to the original...ohh yeah it is the original leather  off course it is screen accurate :D

but then again I am not such a stitch Nazi so the US wings that I just bought from a friend of mine will be enjoyed VERY much :D

here are some pictures..All in all those are pretty similar jackets

In the end, all makes look kind of the same - despite our anal gripes. The thing which makes the real difference is leather and colour/wear - IMO. I've seen jackets that are nothing like the TOD jacket (for instance) in terms of cut; but if leather/ colour/wear is similar, it really looks close. A jacket is a mood as much as it is stitches and design.

Cheers

Agreed. Same goes for the person wearing it, as none of us is SA :)
