Ben Nye Speciality Powders vice Fullers Earth

Has anyone tried this stuff on their fedoras or other costume pieces? I have the Plains Dust and Ash Powder and have tested it on my BCF fedora with excellent results. Just wondering anyone else uses this stuff?
