They're Wested's. I wear a 34" waist but got 38" for a baggier look. I also have them pressed without a crease when dry cleaned.

Panama Tom, what bag and strap is that?
Posted: Tue Apr 29, 2008 7:12 am
by Panama Tom Jr.
The bag is a WPG that I lightened and distressed – it was a dark, almost forest green when I got it.
The strap was actually hand made by a local Native American saddle maker/leather craftsman – it was back in the early days of Indygear before there were so many good choices for straps available. Even so, I’ve seen very few if any straps even today that look dramatically better than this one, so I’m pretty happy it. The biggest hurdle was finding a good buckle for it back then, but I eventually got one from Todd’s Costumes…

Holt,
The hat is my 2005 AB with a Raiders style pinch and Well of the Souls brim, recently reblocked by Steve on his KOTCS block. For more on it check this thread…

Indakin and Harry - gotta say the fullers earth treatment looks killer! If I wasn't such a chicken I'd be tempted to try my it myself - maybe next Halloween...

The pics look great.
All you really need to do is just find a nice dry patch of dirt and roll around in it and take a handfull and sprinkle it on the hat. I did just that for a previous photoshoot. It worked great!

My 8 year old son has a birthday party to go to this weekend. A Indy party that all the kids have to dress in your best Indy gear.

I was wondering how long it would take for someone to pick up on that. I guess not long at all.

Oak, you son looks great in his gear! Did you block a hat just his size? It looks great on him!
I agree, Jason, it's great seeing these kids get into the love of Indy along with their parents.

Bink, good eye my friend. Yes it is. It's a very special penman hat. It's made from one of the test hats (rabbit). The shirt is made by themechanic.

Hey John, glad to see the shirt fit your son.
I'll try to post pics of my son in his gear this weekend.
