Thanks! That's really just the tip of the iceberg
I'm kind of ashamed to say I have/had more Indy boots than any one person should...I've actually sold several pairs just to slim down a bit (lot).
Bemo, no those J.Crew haven't been available for quite some time, sorry

How do the Aldens and Farnums compare in size? What size do you wear in each. I have Farnums in a 10, and I am going to be ordering some Aldens here shotly. I want to make sure I get the right size.

In Aldens, I order the half size down,,I did the same with the Farnhams and it's a perfect fit, just like the Aldens. I wear a 7.5 in shoes, but boots I pretty much always wear a 7. I'd say the 1/2 size down theory works on these Farnhams, but that's just me. They do seem a weeensy bit on the large side, but not much.

Thanx.
I saw them in the catalogue and went "Hmmmmnn!"
I haven't really been an Indy guy - although I loved the movies - but I had my 1st fedora long before Raiders (I wore it to the movie, not having seen any promos, and wondered why people were staring) and my leather jacket is an A2 style from LLBean that's now 20+ years old and still going strong with regular wearing @ 3 - 4 months every year.
I stumbled onto this community when I was trying to find a replacement for my long-time field bag. I don't know if this stuff is contagious or if there's some sort of genetic pre-disposition...

Don't forget that you always need tow sets of measurements to make sure that you get the right fit. You need size and width. Orvis does not list the width, so it would be a good idea to verify your size with them before you order it.

I wonder if I can get 1/2 price? Anyone out there need a left in 11D?
Nice to see another sailorman here MarkVII.
