Hello all. Thought I should introduce myself first. I've been a long time lurker here and just want to say thanks for everything.
About my gear: I've got a "craptacular" disney hat that has seen better days, a WPG bag, and a Reg. Fed should be here in a few days. I talked my mom into thinking that a 3.6 GPA deserves a Wested, so hopefully I can get all the details sorted out soon.
Anyway, back to my question. I decided that a NH shirt is a little too expensive for me, so my mom, who is a wonderful home sewer, has decided to help me make my very own. Could anyone who has a NH measure the pockets dimensions, the pleat width and the dimensions of the epaulets? Thanks guys!

Don't want to take any buisness away from Mr Howard, but I would point you in the direction of the Cabela's shirt, which is almost as awesome and is vary stain resistant.
If your mom is taking orders, put me down for 1, as well.
Maybe she can make two?
Make that three.

Ken, I wear a Medium-Large depending on the manufacturer and I'm 6'2". Mom's too busy into her own affairs to actually make it for me. Shes just going to watch over as I attempt to make something recognizable as a shirt.

Well afraid the measurements of mine may not be too much use since i am about 5'8 but I will look them up for you anyway.

Sounds great Ken. Thanks a lot!
Yeah, my fed was waiting for me when I got home, and I was dying about the wait, so I can't even imagine how I'll make it through the Wested wait.

Why not try getting a cheap shirt similar to indy's and let your mom watch over you as yout try an alter that? Then you might have a better shirt, and if you screw up, you could always just undo what you did and still have a nice shirt

Not a bad idea at all, but I was hoping to do the whole thing... not just adding on some stuff. Even though I suppose that would be easier.
Anyway, I guess in a way it's also a "bonding" project too. Besides, with my luch i would never find a matching fabric, so I'd have to buy another shirt to rip up so everything looks right.
