Thanks for posting the pic. (We all like looking at new jackets.) What model jacket is that? And did you order custom or off the rack size?

looks great from what I see.
there is only one thing that jumped out to me is those snaps! did you ask for them?
by the look of it it is a raiders jacket because of those pockets and rectangulars....but it has snaps?!
but overall the jacket looks very good and a great fit

its a custom, i had it made 44 long, has an extra inside pocket and studs on the flap.
It is not too heavy and is darker than the flash shows it up to be in the pics.
Has a great feel to it. Quality

Oooo. Very nice. What is the texture of the goatskin like? Smooth, pebbly, in between?

My first jacket had pretty similar specs, raiders with poppers.
That goat looks great, good drape, authentic brown looking colour, good fit.
Yey!!

That's the best looking Wested Goat I think I've seen (apart from mine
). It really fits you great and the color is wonderful. I've had mine for 3 years now and it is breaking in great. You'll love it.

Looks fantastic! I like the sleeve length. Once you've worn it enough to develop wrinkled sleeves, the length will be exactly right. I know your post says it's your first Wested, but if my first one looked like that, it probably would have been my last!

Hey, Adey. Love that framed photo of Patrick McGoohan from The Prisoner. That's my favourite TV series of all time.
Be seeing you.

Much lighter colored wested goat than what I've seen before, maybe I'll have to rethink my considering a purchase. I imagine it's at least little darker in person? What's the approx. pocket size if I may ask?
Thanks,
RCB

its darker in person, the flash has lightened it up.
the pockets are 8" wide by about 8 3/4" high.
you can fit a ps3 game in them nicely.

That looks great! I'm going to pop down there this weekend and see what they have off the rack. If not this looks the way to go & I like the snaps too. What is the lining?

by Adey
yeah i find the snaps are good for the welsh weather, keeps the cold out of the zip!
the lining is cotton with satin sleeves.

Thanks for the info... I'd love to get a G&B Expedition but shipping, customs, sizing etc.
Can't decide between goat or horse with Wested.
Probably go for 80's Raiders in (?) with all cotton lining, straps like yours and snaps, if allowed to go this way.

Nice! I think you may want to tighten up the side-straps if you haven't already, though.

yes they are tightened now, ive had it for 10 days now and worn it a lot, it is creasing nice on the arms and the lower back where i sit in the car.
This is a great jacket
