Leather jackets and perfume story

Hello everyone,
My lady friend at work today asked me what kind of cologne I wore and I responded that I don't only when i'm wearing my leather jacket because I love the smell of the jacket and that i'm afraid that my cologne may "absorb" into the leather and effectively cover up the great leather smell
. She soon showed me her lambskin jacket and told me she didn't mind this but that after wearing several brands of perfume that the mix of oils didn't smell right on the jacket (Her Tommy Girl mixed with CK wasn't bad actually 
). Would any of y'all wear the Indy jacket with perfume/cologne especially for your significant other? Thanks and have a good one.
