Wested LC Jacket Authenticity

Post by Crusader »

Hi Y'all,
I seem to remember reading here that of the three Wested jackets, the LC was the most screen accurate "off the rack" (i.e. without giving Peter numerous modification requests). Can anyone post something to either confirm or deny this from personal experience?

With the new lambskin, I am going to order one with the brass hardware and anodized slider buckles, but was wondering if I should ask for anything else like specific pocket sizes or placements, etc or if the LC is pretty spot on as it comes. From what I've read here, the gussets weren't on the Last Crusade, so that isn't an issue, but I seem to recall something about the top of the storm flap by the collar snap not being cut like the original.

Thanks in advance for any guidance! :)

Thanks to both of you for pointing me to the other posting. I am sure I must have read it before, but didn't recall doing so. After re-reading it, it answered most of my questions.
