Good morning COWs...
I accidentally fell asleep while wearing my fedora and now it not only has fur and fuzz all over it from my dogs, but the right brim is now so Cairo it's like these hats just want to look that way eventually no matter which crease you start out with.
Anyway how do I clean the fuzz off and straighten the brim?
NO LAUGHING ALLOWED!

You need a hat brush, or a brush with medium soft bristles.
Brush the top of the brim, crown and top of crown COUNTER CLOCK WISE. Once all the fur and dust is removed, brush the bottom of the brim CLOCK WISE.
This will remove all the fuzz and dirt, and will retighten the felt.
You'll just have to work the brim back into shape with your hands, or if it's has a lot of stiffner in the hat, just hold it over a pan of steaming water in the vapors until warm and damp, then reshape the brim to proper shape. Once you've fixed it to the shape you want, hang on a chair or hat tree until it cools and dries.

We've all 'been there', so nothing to laugh about, and easily 'fixed'..

I use a soft bristle tooth brush on my hat. Works great and is small enoung to get in the creases without distorting them. I broke the brush in pretty well in order to soften it up more, though.
