Here are links to a short film showing how Akubra makes their hats from skins to final product. Silvershadow from FL posted them there. He's from Australia and got these somehow. As we love our Akubra hats here as well and hat making in general, I thought you would enjoy seeing the process. I uploaded them to rapidshare to save his bandwidth.

Pretty awesome to see how the felt is made from the getgo and then to see how they block their hats.
