I guess you need to define your meaning of "not expensive." To me a pair of $320 Aldens is expensive compared to a pair of $100.00 "good enoughs." How much do you want to spend is the question...budge..budget..budget!
You can start off with some "close enoughs" that run between $40.00 to $75.00 on eBay OR you can search the various threads including the Close Enough thread that discusses many options that are below $130.00.
Johnston & Murphys boots are on sale for $99.00 and look great. I am picking up a pair for my everyday wear.

Unfortunatley the J & M boots have been selling out and sizes are limited. I spoke with a rep and she said they wont be making anymore and that I may want to check back in FALL!! They look like awesome shoes but they didn't have my size so but I bought a pair of Browning Kangaroo boots which I should be getting this week. I'll post up some pics when they get in.
