Berkshire Chase frame, doubt with front colour...

Hello,
I'm thinking on purchasing the Berkshire Chase frame (I will fit the lenses later with my optometrist), but I'm not sure of the accurate colour of the front. I read time ago that the correct colour is 'blonde acetate', but recently have seen several opinions proposing the 'chestnut acetate' (which is apparently darker).
What do you think???

Many now say that the chestnut is correct and that may be. I'm in the sun a good bit and the skin on my face is usually pretty tanned, my hair is medium to dark brown, and I much prefer the blonde. It's plenty dark enough for me. Get what works with your skin.
Blonde wasn't available for a while so I wonder how many have actually seen it.
ps: I wouldn't mind getting the chestnut with white gold frames. I think that'd look pretty sharp.

I just ordered the chestnut acetate, but they're on back order until 18 April. For me I think the chestnut is the right colour.

Ok, thank you. I have one more question, I know that 'chestnut acetate' is something like 'dark brown', but the 'blonde' it appears to me more like a reddish tone than a brown one. Isn't it?

I can't say I've seen the Berkshire Chase blonde, but the other blonde acetates I have seen do seem a bit on the reddish side to me.
Oh just to let you know, I ordered mine through framesdirect and I was told that the frames no longer come in the 165 length, they only have 170. For me the extra 5mm is not a big issue as most frames are too short on me anyway. Also they called and said they came in on Tuesday and would probably ship Friday or Monday.

I really think it depends on your skin and hair. I could wear both but the blonde looks better with the gold accents to me.
Blonde. Not really reddish to me. More brown and light orange.
Chestnut. To me really dark brown with flecks of dark orange/red. It's just too much contrast to me. It almost looks black like a Harry Potter frame and that's not the look that comes across while watching the movies.
Most of us aren't as tanned as HF in the Indy role and the chestnut will end up looking like this on our pasty faces.
Rather than this
Just my observations from trying on both and my skin is more like the second pic.
