I just thought I would share the new pair of White whips I made for Chris Camp(Canasta)! They are 6ft 16 plait White roo hide bullwhips with 12 inch aluminum handles, and double plaited bellies. The handles have fancy patterns in them. Chris cracks whips much more than the average whipcracker because he makes his living performing with whips, so the transition is bound extra as well as having the irregular herringbone for a couple of inches off of the handle to make the transitions hold up to his constant use. The transition knots are 7part-6bight turks heads with the pineapple interweaves done in Natural Tan. The butt knots are 7part-6bight turks heads in single tone.

Here are a couple of pictures:

I hope Chris doesn't mind my posting the pictures, but I am really proud of these whips, they turned out great!

Wow! Those really are gorgeous, Paul. Just perfect. Chris should really enjoy and be proud of those babies! Great Job! :)

That herringbone plaiting pattern in the handle is really interesting. Is that for strength in the handle or just looks?

Oh. Very nice! Those are some of the most attractive white whips I've seen yet. I'm sure he'll like them as well. I wonder if he'll use these outdoors or he'll baby them and use them only under super good conditions such as in doors or only when the grass is very well kept for the fear of dirt or stains.

Is that brown or orange on the knot of the handle?

Beautiful...but I was wondering how long they will really be white as well.
