What an AB means to me

When I was a child watching Indiana Jones never in my wildest dreams did I ever think I would have one of his hats. Having my 3 AB hats makes me fell personally connected to Indy in a way I hadn't before. The fact that we can have the same exact hat made by the same hands as the film hat is an honor. On top of that the fact that Steve is such a good person in general makes it all the better. I will be wearing my AB to the theature with pride. They are truly special hats.

Very cool, and a nice sentiment. It is a wonderful and unique time to be an Indy fan. I know if all this happened when I was a kid, I could never even fathom getting a hat like this!

Well I got my second CS AB from Steve and I love it. I bumped up this post to show again how this is no ordinary hat and how how Steve is no ordinary man. Most people never do what they are meant for but I belive that Steve is. All 4 of my AB hat are top notch. But here is where his character really stands out. After all he has been dealing with he still found a way to get me my hat before Dragon*Con. I live in IL he live in Mississippi and DC is in Atlanta. He overnighted my hat to my hotel so it was there when I arrived. What more can be said.

Thanks for posting this. I think people forget how great Steve's costumer service can be. That some times things slip by him because he is so overwhelmed. He's human and can make mistakes but when he knows about them he corrects them. Thats great customer service.

When I first ordered my AB back in March, I was green to gear collecting. I read that Steve made the hats for the movie and so I wanted to have one. In the months since then I have exchanged a few e-mails and PMs with Steve and now know why I will continue to buy hats from him. In a time where most men care for their customers money and not the customer, Steve is a daimond in the rough. Teh Dracon Con story is ttestament to that. He has become the standard by which we all rate hatters and customer service. Whether we are talking about hats, music, guitars or anything for that matter, Steve has always been a gentleman. I feel honored to own one of his hats (whenever I recieve it) and know the man himself.

Good statement Dr Ulloa.

It always been my thought to try and reach for the standard that Steve and Marc of Adventurebilt hats and Adventurebilt hats delux have set. They have set the bar very very high.

No kidding. With all the different hats we have to choose from here, not one is as highly regarded by so many than either of the Adventurebilt brands. I have never dealt with Marc, but I know by chatting with him at COW that he is every bit the gentleman that Steve is. We are lucky to have them.

I've got a charcol gray AB on order. It will be my "dress" hat. I've heard so many great things about them I had to get one. I too, am new to Indy fan sites but I'm catching up quick. I've worn a hat (not a cap) for over 40 years now, mainly Stetsons, but the quality and material of Indy fan fedoras is what I've always been seeking. I've also got a Penman's on order. 100% beaver from a true craftsman at the price he's offering them, not to be passed up. I'm sure the Penman will arrive way before the AB but I' anxious to have them.

The wait for your AB will be long but it will be well worth it.
