A little time, a little makeup, a lot of tan...

I didn't recognize her at first.

Is it just me or does Karen look freakishly the same as she did in raiders as she does in this pic and in all the promo stuff for CS. maybe a slight bit of rinkles, but thats it.

Something tells me Ms Capshaw and Ms Doody have both been 'surgically enhanced', but I personally think that Karen Allen has aged quite gracefully in the natural fashion. She was always kinda cute, in that tomboyish way. I just feel there's a great deal to be said for a woman who lets nature take it's course and wears it proudly. Two other prime examples: Diane Keaton, and Helen Mirren. WOW!!!

So, Platon,

Is there any validity to these answers?

I was hoping there'd be a relpy to these inputs.

No, not quite. I'm working up to 80... 54 years to go. I just think she's a very attractive older woman, that's all, and she apparently hasn't felt the need to enhance herself as so many other Hollywood ladies do. I respect that, and find it attractive in a woman. I don't think that age really has anything to do with whether or not a person can be considered good-looking, so long as the person in question takes good care of themselves. Simple as that. Don't get me wrong, though, I'm pretty content with my 28 year old wife!

Indeed.

Willie took a moment for me to recognize, but her eyes are the same as they used to be. Elsa, more or less fits based on the context... Shown a picture of her alone, I wouldn't have guessed who she was.

Karen, on the other hand, looks largely the same. Somewhat older, but remarkably similar.

Give me Karen Allen any day. I reckon she's the ultimate screen-used collector's item!
