Alden Refurbishment Service

Question... has anyone sent their Alden's back to the company for the rebuild/refurbishment service? I was thinking of doing this, as my boots are ten years old, need new heels, and I've noticed some stitching beginning to seperate around the base of the tongue. I've also considered asking if the factory could re-dye them to the darker brown they originally came in.

Any thoughts or comments? Thanks!
