Yep,I want mine ;-) I'm in the U.S.
Weathered finish, please. I'd like the grips to have a nice classy wear on them. A few dings and notches from battle, but not overly done ;-).
UPDATE- barrel style- Drilled ;-)
Brass sight

ALSO- I'd advise to be discreet with Paypal...They are extremely anti-gun, and although this is a prop, anything that says 'gun' in the description draws their attention and they may suspend or even cancel your account,,be careful. I'd suggest to ask everyone to put 'Indy Prop' in the subject line of their payment and nothing more. Just a suggestion from one who's in the know on this subject ;-)

Definitely in.

Shipped to Canada (as long as its marked as a gift and described as 'antique prop/toy gun' its supposed to make it :) )

I'd prefer the raw finish I guess (comes in parts? test fitted, but then disassembled I'm guessing?)

Thanks!

Crowe, I can do it that way no problemo. I recently shipped another gun kit to Canada in a similar condition and it got through okay. I also painted the muzzle orange. I know that's a US import thing, but I figured hedging my bets couldn't hurt. :)

Also, I need to know what style of barrel you all want. See the revised section at the bottom of the first post.

Thanks!

Perfect!

Ya..I mean I had a resin colt shipped over from somewhere in Asia I think, customs opened it, inspected it (charging me 15$ for the privilege lol), and sent it through no problem. So this one being in parts, should look even less 'hostile' lol

Cant wait to put that kit together :)

edit: didn't see the drilled part

1)Canada
2)Raw Finish Kit
3)Flush barrel

thanks!

Nope, not taking payments just yet. I want to get them all painted/prepped before i get to accepting funds. Makes it easier to box and ship in a reasonable time that way.

Russ,

Let's try to make it as close to all those photos of my real Webley WG that I sent you.

I'm in Los Angeles, California, USA.

Make it light weathered with a drilled out barrel, brass sight with blueing color finish applied over the brass coloring. And if you noticed my grips are almost a black color, with practically no brownish tint to them all.

Just check out my pics and let me know if you can get it close to that.

Also if someone below me drops out let me know if you can make mine #18 (as long as it's OK with Indyfan89) as my Camptown Fedora is #18. Would love to have matching hat and gun!

Your doing a great job on this piece!

Thanks again!!

:P

I'm not intending to hijack this thread, but just checking interest-
Anyone getting one of Rooks Webleys wanting a distressed/aged(new) Webley holster to go with your new pistol?
If so, I'll do a run of 12 (or more if interest shows).

I'll post a pic and start a new thread if need be, but I just wanted to get an idea of who wants one. The cost would be $45.00 + shipping. These look adventure worn and are a great accurate color.
Hope I'm not offendin' ya ,Rook! Let me know if you want me to post this elswhere ;-)

This is why I chose "NOT brass sight". If you can do it - would prefer blueing over brass but since that was not one of the choices - NOT brass.

Thanks, and to echo others - I'm really excited to get your Webley replica - Great Job!

If you don't want the brass it will be the same semi-gloss black as the
rest of the gun, but not actually "blued." I really don't have a way to do
that.

I don't have those parts on hand. You can look on sites like
Gunbroker.com and auctionarms.com for Webley parts.

In the future I plan to pick up some parts to see how easily they swap in,
and I'll be able to offer a list of what parts will work and what won't.

One can "assume" that "most" parts for the .455 Webley will work.
Now, they made Webley MKI, MKIII and MKVI's in .455, so you really need to eyeball the parts to get the "right" ones.

You'll need to compare/contrast parts when you receive your gun. Some
MKVI release levers have a... bushing/spacer cast in on the inside edges.
The "WG" uses the other style of lever that has smooth inside edges. The
hinge pin also differs from model to model of pistol. The WG's have the left side hinge pin with a flange on the lower right side that is smooth, while some versions of the Webley have a screw/bolt through that same piece.

Just keep in mind that you're not getting a replica made by Master Replicas. If you were... It would cost $300 more. And probably be made in China. ;)

How did you know???

I was doing yours the same way. The hot pink goes great with the "screen accurate" neon orange color the rest of your gun will be painted in.

I forget, did you want the hot pink grips, or the flourescent purple?

;)

Howdy Rook,

In light of the arduous nature of the painting you mention in the accompanying thread, why don't you send mine along paint-free?

Being a prop guy myself, I can certainly do the paintwork on my bench, freeing you up for some of the other more detailed requests.

I just wanna get my hands on that sculpture, man!

LOL. Thanks everyone. Painting actually is the least time consuming part. It's just the clean up work to get to the painting stage, and then the weathered detailing afterwards. :)

Was there something in particular you had them listed as on the customs form?

Model Kit? Movie Prop? Thermonuclear device?

Just kidding about that last one. ;)

Those of you OUTSIDE the USA, if there's a specific label or description you want on your customs form, please post it here.

Thanks!
