Historic Indy Shirt?

Here is a replica of the WWII Army uniform shirt, which could be considered as a real-life counterpart to Indy's shirt:
Let me know what you think. This shirt is part of what I envision as what a 1930s adventure might have actually worn... along with my Vintage Adventurer!
Kind regards,
Magnoli

Love it, and that jacket is the most drool-worthy I've ever seen. I wish I could afford it! But I've just paid for an AB and a Mark VI bag...

very nice shirt! I always thought Indy's shirt would have been modeled on a military or safari shirt.

On a tangent, I've been watching Magnum, P.I. on DVD over the past couple of days, and noted that the characters wear a lot of safari/military style shirts.
It amused me that the episode I watched just after reading this thread had Magnum wearing a shirt that was almost exactly like the one in this thread (the only difference being a slightly lighter colour); according to the review of this shirt on the Magnoli Clothiers website, Magnoli's shirt was designed following a request to specifically replicate Magnum's. That's beyond awesome.
Magnum also wears pretty distinctive Hawaiian shirts (and a khaki/brown web belt, for those pleased to know they can share items between their Indy/Magnum collections); a flash of inspiration mid-episode regarding these clothing items lead me to discover that there actually
is a "Magnum Gear" community out there, who are only slightly less exacting than the Indygear crowd.

Always remember, Tom Selleck very nearly was Indy, it was only his contract on Magnum that opened the door for Harrison!
