Just wanted to clarify the correct wearing of Indy's belts.

Web belt - Bitter end pulled through the buckle from Mr. Ford's right to left through the first pants loop and 6 inches left dangling.

Leather gun belt - Bitter end pulled through the buckle from Mr. Ford's left to right, fed through the metal retainer and the leather retainer with about 3 inches left dangling. End of the leather belt is slightly bent out.

I think they're both pulled right to left.

I don't know............? Unless Indy forgot to put it on correctly!

Keep in mind that there's no "right way" to put on a belt. Either way is fine, and I'm sure Indy's done both in his career. :junior: -M

I thought so too until some "gearhead" at Wizard World told me that the gun belt was on upside down! That got me thinking and looking at various images from all four movies. They seem to vary most in IJ2-ToD.

Just curious what others here did....

It's been surmised that the gunbelt is worn reversed in KOTCS so it can be taken off easier whilst allowing the whip holder to remain hanging on the web belt.

It's worn pulled right to left in all three of the other movies.

also the whip holder in some pictures shows it is acutall looped around the web belt to keep in all in place

Ok that will be hard to thread through the pant loops with all these attachments and dangly things! I thought doing Indy costume would have less dangly things than Captain Jack!

Also keep in mind that a section of TOD had the film reversed. Just about the entire fight above the lava pit was this way. Check the hat ribbon and strap that went across the chest as well as the belt.

Prior to KOTCS I think it's always been consistent from the web belt to the leather belt.
