I am trying to decide between getting a used Keppler or the new federation.

Is the keppler worth the extra $$$? or should I just order the new federation?

What are the key differences or features of each? (aside from Keppler being 50/50 rabbit/beaver and the fed is rabbit)

I know Michaelson always says, "its like comparing apples to oranges" but I know that there are people who like oranges (or apples) better than the other.

New ones are still $140.00 until the new price list arrives in the mail.

I mailed my check to Lee yesterday morning. From what I've read, the Keppler fedora is better quality. My bet would be to go with the Keppler but I am new to this whole thing so maybe I'm not the right person to answer.

By "used keppler" I meant I am talking to someone here about buying his. just FYI.


I am asking this because I am in a dilemma. I really want to get my fedora ASAP to start wearing it, but at the same time, I want a fedora that will last me.

Man swcrazyfan, we are in the same boat here. I'm still trying to decide between a Federation and a Camptown. Tough choices and we're running out of time before the premiere. And money for that matter whatever we buy.

And now since the Kepplers are 140 bucks I'm gonna have to consider them too.

And we need whatever we get to be a fedora that will last for a long time.

is there anyone that has both of these fedoras that would be able to comment about them?
