Current hat wait times

I emailed the following hat companies, and here are the wait times:

Peter Bros: 6-8 weeks
AB Deluxe: 10 months
Magnoli: 2 months

I haven't heard from Steve at AB, but based on what I've read here at Club Obi-Wan, you're looking at over a year. I ordered mine from Peter Brothers today, and can't wait!

Yes---I'm one of the throng who will be ordering a new Fed Deluxe immediately upon release....Of course, we'll hear from Michaelson probably long before HatsDirect 'Tips their hat' as to when the new ones arrive...

From what I understand, it looks like Camptown is around 6 to 8 weeks as well.

Yeah, the Fed depends on if he has your size in right now or not. He is pretty busy, as I am still hoping to hear from him. It may be worth it to wait and see his new model.

I don't believe Steve will respond to any type of "how long will I wait" email. I emailed 3 times to ask if there was a chance I would have my AB by a certain date to wear to a formal event, with no reply. Kind of burnt my bacon, even though I know how busy he is. Just keep workin' on them hats, Steve! :)

I know exactly what you're saying Indiana. I kind of am going through a simillar thing with Ken concernng the Fieldmaster. I've made contact with him a few times, and I always say I'm ready to order, but don't always get a clear answer as to when or how that will happen. I know these guys are very busy, but you are just excited to wear the 'ol brown hat as soon as you can. It will, of course, all work out in the end. :)
