A fedora worth an half a million bucks

Post by BishopSix »

It was my 4th Akubra Federation Deluxe. It took a month to bash it and break in just looks like LC.

In last October, I was in Syberia wearing the federation. I was almost defeated in the deal but suddenly my client asked me:

"Where did you get that nice looking hat?"

I began telling him about COW, about Steve, Marc and Michaelson...
His eyes were gilttering whenever he was looking at the fedora on the hanger...

I told him "It's yours" and I won the half a million dollar project.

Thank you guys. I've never expected Indy Fedoras would help my business but you know how I am grateful they are.

Cheers, everyone at COW!

Behold the power of the fedora!

Cool story. Maybe I should wear a fedora next time I ask my boss for a raise... :D

 Well, save at least ONE fedora for yourself, but keep several on hand for clients! I think you're onto something!

HIGH regards! Michaelson

Well, I think that stands as justification for anyone who wants to buy another fedora. Next time my wife asks, I'll have a good answer!

That reminds me of something:

Rolls-Royce Phantom two. 4.3 litre, 30 horsepower, six cylinder engine, with Stromberg downdraft carburetor, can go from zero to 100 kilometres an hour in 12.5 seconds. And I even like the color.

It is good to have an unintentional deal maker.

Great story, but I have to wonder how it would have ended if that hat had been an Adventurebilt!

I can tell you - I would have said, "Deal's off!" Then I would have punched the guy in the face, grabbed the hat, slapped it on my head, and ran like heck!

Thank god you didn't own an AB - given a choice between one of those and half a million bucks, I'd choose the hat any day. :D :junior: -M

I would never ever trade an Adventurebilt with anything except Adventurebilt itself. It's priceless, you know? :D

The problem is... I don't have a Adventurebilt yet (ordered but forgotten). It's a holy grail of fedora!

You shall have, workers, provisions, titanium coated tools, bulldozers, and free beers each night.

You're welcome.
