Mark VII bag. Who owned yours first?

Many of us have period Mark VIIs. The previous owner of mine wrote his name, and what I believe was his regiment, but I can't make it out, and I'm not proficient enough with imaging software to bring it out.

Anyway, cheers to my Mark VIIs original soldier, Cpl. Knowles.

That you should save as a WWII relic if its a used bag.
All of my bags is bought unused, so they didnt belong to someone before me.

Mine was first owned by First Lt. D. H. Thomas. I'm keeping it as is and plan on getting a Magnoli replica. Pics coming soon.

I don't know if my bag has anything on it. All the markings were almost gone when i bought it. I did get the bag from Noel Howard 7 or 8 years ago.

Mine's used. I should check the writing on it again, but I do think of it as a genuine artifact. I know it's cliche to say, but it does belong in a museum.
