Club Obi Wan

Awhile back I had Fedora reblock my AB beaver, fantastic job, but of course. When it was on the "flange" not sure how to describe this, In the front where just were the ribbon meets the brim, theres some marks left behind by the aperatus Steve uses to fltaen out the brim.
Can this be removed by lightly sanding with 600 grit or should I use a heavier grit. Here's a pic of the front, some of the same are on the back, just not so much.
This doesn't really bother me, I've just wanted to know if it's possible to remove them.

It's hard to see in that pic. It's a question best left for Steve. did you just get it back?

Hard to see? it's that darker area in a circular shape, just under the ribbon.
Actually I've had it for a while, kinda thought I'd fade ya know. Never did, my query is one of curiosity, can this adjusted so it's not so noticible.

The picture is what it making it hard to see, I can see it but just looks unclear. Your picture is pixelated. If it was a bit more clear than we could maybe see in detail the problem, but I do see what your talking about a darker circle in front by the ribbon. Maybe you need an arrow pointing to it.

OK, here's a pic with red arrows pointing to the areas that are "darker" than teh rest of brim/crown. Now guys abd gals, please don't get me wrong. This a question only. I love this hat, it's my first AB.
I'm just wondering if theres a way to blend these areas together, with out having to send it to Steve. As we know he's kinda busy.
These marks look like there caused by what ever device is used to shape the hat.

That pic needs to be BIGGER I'm kidding of course, Croft. I do know exactly what you're talking about, as I have the same mark around my AB. Though I haven't gotten around to it myself, why not try Fullers Earth?

Ya I know thats an opption, but I tend to wear my hats all the time and wouldn't it be, well kinda weird having fullers earth on it. I asked the question before but never recieved an answer. With Fullers eath on an AB and it rained, what happens to the Fullers eath. Fullers mud??

I've always looked at Fullers as something you put on for Hallowen, Comic con or for the display hat, not an every day hat, if this wrong please jump all over me.

Maybe I'll have to buy some.

I've had that mark show up on one of my AB's in the past, and it eventually disappeared with wear and regular brushing, so I wouldn't be too concerned.

It may have nothing to do with a problem I had some time ago,
but It could be this:
I have a rather oily skin and a stain (which look like yours) appeared in the same place on one of my fedora.
The oil migrate from the stiching of the sweatband to the fur.
In your case the reblocking may have reveal the stain...
If you thing that what I say is reavelant, try a solvant* to clean the stain.

If that is indeed the case, talk about serious taper!
