I suspect it may have something to do with the revamped Fed coming down the line as discussed here:

Hopefully there is a mistake but I dont think so because last week the price was higher than the week before so it slowly increased during these passed weeks!!!

Yea you're probably right it was just a matter of time before they lifted the price

I don't really see them raising the prices of the Fed without raising the prices of the fed deluxe, but I could of course be wrong. I guess we'll see soon enough, if the price stays constant.

Edited: Figured out something I'd said was wrong, so I removed it.

I can understand why the price went up for the new brown, but it also went up for the other colors.

And if you look at the site. There are two different "The Federation"'s. One for the new brown and one for the other colors.

I really loved my old FED. Sadly it died a while back. I would surely buy a new one if it were not for the insane exchange rates and the killer, the shipping costs. Oh how I wish David Morgan could stock the FED.

They fixed it already ;-) I saw that yesterday, too.

Yeah, it was a boo boo, and as TR said, has been fixed.

Oh, and Josh, DM will NEVER offer the Fed. It's a contractual exclusive line to HatsDirect.

The price keeps going up because the US dollar is quickly becoming worthless. I doubt costs are really skyrocketing--anyone know if the AU price has been relatively stable compared to the shooting up of the US dollar price?

The federation and the deluxe are actually DOWN $1 dollar and sme change from Friday! -It's the US Dollar losing ground against ALL foreign currency.
When I started looking at the Federations back at the beginning of January, the Fed Regular was around $78-80 dollars and the deluxe was $ 120-ish US.
US dollar has been going downhill since. A bit of a warning, too- if they lower the interest rates again like they say they will, it's going to be worse. Our dollar is going to lose a lot of value against other countries' money. -The Euro was worth $1.60 US for the first time in history last week-

Don't smack your lips to much, Max. That's going to blast a lot of Marc's or Peter's sales, as well as anyone else selling gear to us in the U.S. from overseas, as it will make those items to expensive to even consider. It puts eveyone on an even footing with the items made in the U.S. now.

Oh, but we're being told "we're not in a recession" (heavy sarcasm)

Uh,oh, does that make me a "thought criminal"!
