Built to my specifications. It's a 6' double belly, triple bolster, 12-plait roo with a 10" handle. The transition is done in the Jacka style. I'll let you all know how it feels when it arrives.

I'm very interested in what Hollywood thinks as well. Due to my schedule and the weather I haven't really had a chance to give it much test cracking, but the few flicks and volleys I gave it on my deck were fine.

This whip is my first real attempt at doing the Jacka transition...

Just arrived! And it is amazing! This is THE best initial feel for a whip I've ever recieved. This includes whips by Peter Jack and Greg DeSaye. The thing I like about it is it's ACCURATE with a capital 'A'. Havn't had much cracking time, but it went where I wanted to every time. I put one of my self-made Blue-Thunda™ (Say it with an Aussie Accent) crackers and with some tuning it'll crack everytime. I can really feel the effect of the Jacka transition, and like what I feel. Louie has a really nice balance with the whip, the weight tranfers well. I'll put up some video later. VERY GOOD WORK!!! I look forward to more

So after using this whip for a week, teaching class with it and the like, I'm pleased to say I like it. I really like it. But it does have some quirks. For instance at this moment I can't do the Tasmainian cutback. The transition is so stiff, it pulls the whip back into my body upon reversal. And attempting fast figure eights is like pulling teeth. It just doesn't want to make that second loop as well as the first. But for any of my upside down, as Gery puts it, figures this thing is amazing. As a matter of fact it WANTS to be thrown with the natural curve. Trying to use it against it simply does not work. If I start pronated, and swing it up for a circus crack, the handle rotates in my hand and I feel the natural curve aligning for the crack. I sight with the handle and the crack happens wherever I put it.
One thing I'd like to mention is the weight. The handle is well weighted and the first thing people have told me is "It's heavy". But I don't think that is correct. Yes, when first using it it did feel heavier then my 10' IOAB, but now that I'm used to the weight I don't notice it at all, and the balence is such that the action of the whip is fast and nimble.
So all in all it's an exellent whip. Well made and built for what I want to do with it.
I commend Louie and suggest his whips to anyone who wants to purchase one. It's a fine product and I plan on getting another when then fund gets bigger.
