Ok, I know people have probably already discussed this but I was looking at getting a todd standard but I'm not to sure what size to get. I own a Wested that says 42 and my suit jackets are a 42L. I'm 6'3 with long arms, now normally with shirts a large will work except in the arms which is why I buy XL. Todds website states that the arm measurement is from the centre base of the neck????? Plus I want to be able to wear sweaters under it and not have it look to short.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Im 6 1 1/2 and the XL just fits me right in the body, but the sleeves dont come down to the top of my thumb like a wested, and it starts to bug me after a while. They actually stop just about at my wrists. I would serioulsy suggest ordering the XXL that he has coming in. And if for some reason its slightly big in any area you can easily add a bit of water in spots and pop it in the dryer for a bit. I workout alot and my chest realaxed is 44 inches around right under my armpits. So definitely get the XXL, Pitfall Harry is also going to probably swap his for an XXL now too. The biggest thing is that if you do have a bit more room like i said, you have some jacket size to play with for distressing it up. I plan to make this jacket my costume jacket, nice and worn in as much as possible, and ### accurately as possible. So i need that little bit extra jacket size to play with that the XXL will give me. Its always better to have it slightly big and shrink it up some, than be too small or just fitting, at least in my opinion.
