A long overdue post, and hopefully a pic!

Hello everyone!
I have long been a fan of the Indiana Jones movies, and have been influenced by the spirit of the character, and have always loved the gear. I have emulated the style of Indiana Jones as long as I can remember, and for years have been collecting gear that has improved progressivley over time. My first real Indy jacket was a dark brown lambskin wested, which desperately needs a new lining. I had no idea that it was possible to get "the" jacket from the original maker until I stumbled across a site called "X marks the spot" about 10 years ago. The pictures were fantastic, but what sold me was the story by someone who called himself "Major Paul", endorsing his Wested Leather jacket as
"Monkey bite proof at the temple of the dead". A couple years after that I decided to try a presdistressed cowhide from Wested, and that is the one I'm sharing today, assuming the link works. I just got it back from a local seamstress who installed a new lining. The leather facings are gne and that fact forgives any other errors in craftsmanship in my mind. It was recently coated with the same dressing that my EM-Brand whip came with. I just wanted to say hi and thank everyone here for being as crazy as I am for getting into this hobby which has almost become a way of life. I have enjoyed checking in from time to time and especially seeing Steve Delks evolution of the premier Indy hat and success in becomeing a part of the legend, and a legend in his own right.
