Please forgive me if this has already been asked in another post some where. But I' looking to get a strap and possibly be a bag that is close to the one in TOD! I was leaning towards Indy Magnoli, His dark brown strap appears to be close in color from the pic! I'm not sure who else makes the correct color strap! He also offers two different style buckles, which style is close to TOD?

The strap and buckle in Raiders seem unique to that film, whereas those in the other three films are all very similar.

Kind regards,
Magnoli

So out of the strap buckles that offer which one is closest to TOD? Curved or straight?

The curved, roller buckle would be closest to TOD.

Magnoli

Hey Indy, does the roller make the strap slip/slide easier? The reason I'm asking is because I don't want my strap to slide much once I have it set. I'm gonna be buying another bag from you soon and am trying to decide if I want to buy another (new) strap to go with it.

It doesn't seem to. I haven't tried them out "in the field", but from assembling them, there doesn't seem to be any additional "slippage" with this new buckle.

Kind regards,
Magnoli

I have a roller buckle on an older Keppler strap and it makes it much easier to shorten and adjust the bag strap while wearing it. However, I haven't had problems with it slipping on me, either.
