Gonna call Wested this week to order...any recommendations?

I'm going to order a Horse Hide, still don't know which of the 3 movie styles though. I have read and searched this forum until my eyes bled- pocket size, flap scallops, storm flap and collar meeting point, zippers, sliders, gussets, stitching, etc etc etc...
I do not need a SA perfect jacket, I just want one that fits and is practical! I'm getting HH because I want the toughest leather, as it will be my normal everyday wearing jacket. I'm 6'3, 200 pounds and have orangutan-long arms. I wear a 44 long in a suit coat.
I read all about Pluton's specs and how everyone raved over his pockets, and I agree they are the best looking, so I'll ask for those.
Any thing else I need to mention to Peter while I'm ordering?

Something you may want to consider with the pockets is not the size per se but the proportion of the pocket size to the rest of the jacket. Platon-size pockets on a non-Platon size jacket may not have the same desired appearance. I'm trying to figure this out for myself as well. Please let us know what you figure out.

CitRon, you are likely better off to order online that way it is very specific what you want. Peter is extremely busy and he is probably going to say to you on the phone that you should just order online I got that from him twice before. They will likely get your order right as much as they can if you order online. Pockets is the key especially to your size. I agree with Bemo here Platon's specs was for a 40-42 range so if your bigger than that then you are going to have different specs. I guess the most thing I would be concerned about is the cut, the pockets, sleeve length, and no facings when ordering a Raiders jacket. Collar should be smaller but as long as its not over 3 inches at the tips it is ok. The rest I guess is up to you. You really are wanting a jacket that fits you best, not to have one for Harrison Ford. Hope you make your order soon, Peter is extremely busy. Then sooner you order the more likely your going to get your jacket before May. It takes him probably about a little over a month to get a jacket made and sent. So take that into account. thanks Chris, I actually started filling out the online form, and decided I should call; I guess I'm retarded, but after endless posts, I still don't have a good idea of the differences in the 3 movie types.
I understand compared to Raiders, LC had a larger collar and ToD was longer in the body -is that right?
If someone could give me a brief tutorial here or pm me with it, I would appreciate it.

Well citRon sounds like you have a problem choosing which style jacket to choose from. I personally like Raiders and LC are my favorite, I liked Temple of Doom as well just not as much as those two. So pick your style, then I would try to do a search here in forums using which style you pick for specs. Maybe type in Raiders jacket or Temple of Doom Jacket into the search at the top and see what you come up with. I know from reading a lot and looking at a few threads the Raiders jacket has smaller pockets, smaller collar, retangular sliders, silver zip and no facings on the zipper or the small pocket, and no gussets or if you want small gussets on the arms. I don't know if I am leaving anything out there. I know Peter makes a great LC jacket, he does make some great Raiders jackets too. I don't know what exactly are the specs for LC, all I know is the pockets are bigger, its got storm flap studs on it, and the collar is bigger and brass d-rings. Probably more than just that, maybe the main site can clear it up for you or use the search feature and see what you come up with. It took me a while to decide what jacket I wanted. Take your time to decide, but don't take months Hope this helps some, good luck on your order.
