It appears many people here seem to have multiples.

How many (and which) indy jackets do you have?

I have 2 1/2. I have a Wested Raiders lambskin, which is my only true Indy jacket I suppose. I also have a black goatskin from US Wings. The 1/2 goes to my Magnoli Vintage Adventure Jacket which is very similar to an Indy jacket. That one is cow hide.

Basically, I have my heavy leather, my light leather, and my black leather. One more should make me happy... maybe two...

Currently 1 Wested from 2000.

My original Wested was from 1998 which I sold and I've owned a Cooper/Disney LC jacket, which I also sold. Stupid.

I have a dark brown lambskin LC Wested, a lamb touch Raiders Wested and the jacket from Todd´s

right now all i got is a wings lamb, very close to getting the wested special...

Had 4, now have 3.

Jeez, I really am an amatuer at this! I only have one...a Wested LC lambskin. Which I love to death and intend to be buried in!

When I was a kid and the first movie came out, I commandeered my Dad's military flight jacket (an A2, I think, it had a furry collar) and wore it almost to pieces. It's still in a closet around here somewhere, in the last stages of disintegration. He got it in between Korea and Vietnam so I guess it's entitled to show some wear!

5 Wested's, the latest being an LC from 2000.
2 Disney jackets.
1 custom one that I had made before I was online. (Based off pics, etc.)

I've had seven Indy style jackets so far:

SCHOTT bought in 1984-'85 (looks like predistressed lambskin)

COOPER official bought from Lucasfilm Fan Club in 1989 (sold)

LEATHER CONCESSIONAIRES lambskin bought from Lee Keppler in 1990

Traded the above back to Lee in 1994-'95 for a WESTED lambskin

COOPER Indiana Jones/Pepsi denim jacket ltd. edition sweepstakes
prize bought from a fellow collector around 1992-'93

Just the one. Wested LC Lambskin. Amazing that I saved enough for it.

DISNEY (non-Cooper), c. 1995-ish?

The color is really faded. It's gotten very light compared to the SA jackets. But it's rugged as heck. And just as heavy.

I got two from Wested but I need to loose some weight. I've become fatter over the years and my first one doesn't fit me that well anymore and my second is still quite okay but it doesn't sit comfortable anymore. So I usually wear my A2 which fits just fine.
I should loose some weight or else I should by a complete new one.

I have had 15 Indiana Jones jackets pass in and out of my hands. I currently own 4 Gibson & Barnes Expeditions (some of which I’m thinking about selling for size reasons). Here’s a rundown.

1. Cooper cowhide from US Cavalry 1990 – gave away

I have two. One raiders lamb and one raiders cowhide. Both are wested.

I almost have two...

1. USW Clearance Goat (got that cheap while waiting for Wested).

3. Wested cowhide

But I'm still looking to get my hands on a Wested goat one day (but please don't tell me wife!!!).

I did own a Wested Lambskin, Temple of Doom (with buckles on the side straps) but traded it for the Lambstouch Cowhide.

I also had a Disney that I sold a few years ago.

one LC magnoli that I look so forward to get since LC is my favorite movie

one standard goat with custom job on it.I wanted a jacket for the winter with a thick sweather underneath it

i have waaaaaaaaay too many.......about 10 or 11 i think. and that's just indy jackets. my lateset acquisition is a brand new pre-italian/british made belstaff trialmaster classic (alot of you won't care or won't know what that is but i had to jump several hoops to get it )

i'm looking to top off my collection with the tony nowak jacket when it becomes available.....and if it's not at a ludicrous price....that way i can justify wearing the bag on the outside of that jacket

I have three Westeds (three different patterns). Three G&B (Flightsuits Expedition) two goat and one lambskin. Finally I have two Todd's, a custom cowhide and the standard lambskin.

Other than that I have two A-2's, a G-1, and a "Mutt" jacket just for fun.

Have you talked to Peter about getting it repaired?

They can take out a whole panel and replace it if need be.

2 now, Wested Raiders Goat and USW Vintage Cowhide. Had 5 others at one point, USW Rooskin (didn't fit right), Wested Lamb (too thin/cheap feeling), Wested Cow (too sqeaky), 2 different G&B Goat Expeditions (both from clearance page, neither fit, sent back). Wested Goatskin is the best of the bunch.

I own two Jackets:

FS Expedition Goatskin (dark brown)

US Wings Indy Jacket Goatskin

that's the diference between us and Indiana jones..he was a movie figure and we are the fans that try to achieve his gear look,so of course he wouldn't care...he just put something on without any detail atention about pocket flaps are too big or too small ...

I have three, purchased in this order:

Wested Raider dark brown Lamb in 1997 (or '98, not sure exactly).

Wested Raider predistressed cowhide in 2000.

US Wings goatskin in 2004.

And my favorite of the three? Whichever one I happen to be wearing at the time!

authentic color. It's very nice. I'd heard that it would be really stiff, but it wasn't at all. Nice and soft, and very tough (just like people describe horse-hide as being). I once fell off a moving vehicle with it on and it really saved me from a lot of scrapes and bruises, while only taking a few scratches itself.

I have an Raiders authentic brown lambskin with satin lining, which has been distressed by me with sandpaper.

3) Christies auction- NYC in 1992- LC cowhide, very distressed but in great shape. Afraid to wear it.

4) US Wings vintage cowhide

5) G&B Goat expedition. Love this one a lot.


And probably 15 or more other Indy jackets over the last 19 years, I either sold or gave away.
