Just need to convert this auction on gunbroker to a 4 inch. There was a Brazilian one for sale a few weeks ago.

Wow - a beautiful example. What a shame it would be if you cut the original barrel. As the very-wise Michaelson recently told me - find another barrel and cut that one to 4 inches and leave the original barrel intact to preserve the value of the piece.
Frankly, I kinda dig the 5.5 inch barrel myself. I know it's not Raiders screen accurate, but it's definitely old-world Raiders-era military revolver greatness! And Todd's Costumes sells the Raiders holster in a 5.5-inch configuration!

I would tend to agree about the barrel. I'm just stating the fact that if you want it for the purpose of Indy collecting, 4 inch is what he was using. Better to take a messed up gun that needs gunsmithing and cut that down, as it's original value was already inferior. Cutting down a barrel also probably doesn't help with the gun performance.
Well, someone got that one, it's gone. I think it was priced starting at only $300 with no reserve. Very low indeed since you would expect to pay between $600-800 for one.
